Laurel has been a nurse since 1977 in New York, Arizona and North Carolina. The majority of her more traditional work has been with all ages of clients in home health, rehabilitation (general and brain injury), working with the developmentally delayed/disabled in group homes and home settings and psychiatry. Laurel’s journey into more holistic, integrative approaches began with her own health issues and searching for “better ways”. As she healed, it became evident that she was to share this information and healing, so she began teaching her own classes in addition to those she had done with her more mainstream jobs. She has come to view nursing both as an art and science whose primary purpose is to assist others toward the wholeness inherent within them. By using both intuitive and analytical skills developed from many years of experience and training, she is able to choose from a wide variety of modalities which would best serve her clients by guiding in the restoration of optimal physical, emotional and mental health. She is currently working with New Hope Home Care and restarting private practice which she has done previously.
